Perennial Lawn & Landscape
By scheduling service with Perennial Lawn & Landscape (“Perennial,” “we,” “us”), you agree to the terms below. These guidelines help keep service smooth, safe, and consistent for everyone.
Services We Provide
Perennial Lawn & Landscape provides lawn maintenance, landscaping, seasonal, and snow services including (but not limited to):
Lawn & Landscape Services
- Lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
- Landscape bed maintenance (weeding, pruning, mulching)
- Shrub and small tree trimming
- Landscape enhancements and installation
Seasonal Services
- Spring cleanups
- Fall cleanups (including leaf removal)
Winter Services
- Snow plowing (driveways and parking lots)
- Sidewalk clearing
- Ice management and de-icing applications
Your exact services are based on your approved estimate, service plan, or written agreement.
Scheduling & Weather
Outdoor services are affected by weather and seasonal conditions.
- Service days and times are not guaranteed. Routing and crew scheduling may vary.
- Weather delays happen. Rain, lightning, frozen ground, saturated turf, or unsafe conditions may delay service.
- We will complete service as soon as conditions allow.
Seasonal Cleanup Services
Seasonal cleanups (spring and fall) may require multiple visits depending on property conditions and weather patterns.
- Final fall cleanups are scheduled based on weather and completion of leaf drop.
- Frozen ground, snow cover, or heavy rain may delay service.
- We are not responsible for leaves or debris that reaccumulate after service due to wind or weather conditions.
- Excessive debris beyond normal seasonal expectations may result in additional charges.
❄ Snow Removal & Ice Management
Snow services are triggered based on snowfall accumulation thresholds outlined in your service agreement (for example, 1″, 2″, etc.).
Snow Plowing
- Service is typically performed after the trigger depth is reached.
- During major storms, multiple visits may occur.
- Snow may be piled in designated areas on your property.
- We are not responsible for damage to items hidden under snow (landscape lighting, curbing, decorative borders, etc.).
Ice Management
- Ice melt products reduce risk, but no surface can be guaranteed 100% ice-free or slip-proof.
- Refreeze conditions may occur due to melting and temperature changes.
- Customers remain responsible for monitoring site conditions.
Snow Event Timing
During heavy or continuous snowfall:
- Routes may take several hours to complete.
- Exact timing is not guaranteed unless specifically contracted.
Access to Your Property
To provide service, we need safe and reasonable access.
Please ensure:
- Gates are unlocked
- Pets are secured indoors or away from the work area
- Driveways and sidewalks are clear of vehicles and obstacles
- Lawn areas are clear of toys, hoses, and debris
If access is blocked, service may be skipped and may still be billable.
Property Owner Responsibilities
Please notify us about:
- Sprinkler systems and shallow irrigation lines
- Invisible dog fences
- Septic systems, lids, and drain fields
- Landscape lighting and buried wires
- Decorative edging, stakes, or hidden objects
Perennial is not responsible for damage to unmarked or hidden items.
Pricing, Billing & Payments
- Pricing is based on your approved quote or service plan.
- Invoices are due according to the terms shown on your invoice.
- Late payments may result in late fees and/or service suspension.
- Unpaid balances may be sent to collections if unresolved.
- Seasonal and snow contracts may require prepayment or installment billing.
Extra Work & Changes
Work outside your normal service scope may be billed separately. We will communicate pricing before performing additional services whenever possible.
Living Materials & Natural Conditions
Lawns and plants are living systems affected by weather, soil, watering practices, pests, and prior conditions.
Perennial does not guarantee:
- Weed-free lawns or beds
- Exact turf thickness or growth results
- Plant survival (unless specifically stated in writing)
Property Conditions & Normal Wear
We use professional equipment and take care to protect your property. However, certain conditions are unavoidable.
Perennial is not responsible for:
- Damage to personal items left in service areas
- Minor turf disturbance from mowing equipment
- Surface scraping that may occur during snow removal
- Damage caused by hidden obstacles
- Snow pile melt-off or drainage patterns after plowing
Cancellations
If you need to cancel service, please provide written notice by email or text.
- Recurring services: At least 48 hours before your next visit.
- One-time services: At least 48 hours before the scheduled date.
- Seasonal snow contracts: May require written notice prior to the start of the snow season.
Late cancellations may result in a trip charge.
Service Suspension
We may suspend or delay service for:
- Unsafe conditions
- Blocked access
- Severe weather
- Overdue balances
- Harassment or unsafe behavior toward our team
Photos
We may take before-and-after photos for documentation, quality control, and communication.
If you prefer that photos not be used for marketing, please notify us in writing.
Liability
Perennial Lawn & Landscape is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages. Our responsibility for any claim is limited to the value of the service performed.
Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
